RSVPs are due January 9, 2026. Please make the lead up to our big day as easy as possible by responding as soon as possible.

We ask that you arrive prior to 3.45pm. Our ceremony begins at 4pm sharp. And no, the bride will not be running late! Following the ceremony you will be to able enjoy a few drinks and canapes in the sun before the reception starts.

Formal attire. For men this means a suit, but a tie is optional.

Whilst we would love to have your children there, our wedding will be an adults-only celebration. We appreciate your understanding.

Transfers are available for guests who are staying in the Healesville and Yarra Glen area. Please see the Transport section of this website for more information. Our wedding venue informs us that taxis and Ubers are incredibly difficult to get in the Yarra Valley, so they suggest you do not rely on them. If you'd like to organise your own transfers, we can recommend Yarra Valley Rides​ or Yarra Valley Transfers.

Your presence is the most meaningful gift to us. However, if you'd like to give a gift, we will have a wishing well at the reception. We do not have a formal wedding registry, but if you prefer to purchase a gift you are welcome to surprise us.

It is important that our nuptials reflect our modern values which is why we’d like to inform you that Shelby will be keeping Garlick as her last name (even though Mrs Hayes Pest Control does have a certain ring to it). Dylan will be keeping Hayes as his last name. You can simply refer to us as the newlyweds/bride and groom.

Shortly after the wedding day we will be heading to the Maldives for a holiday filled with sun, cocktails and plenty of relaxing.
